Funny Little Boy

I think the best entertainment that I have found would be my son. He is the funniest thing. The other day he cracked me up by playing with his favorite toy. I love to watch him play when he doesn't know that I am looking. I sit there and just laugh while watching his thoughts come to life through his actions. Back to the point, he was playing with his shape sorter and usually he needs help to get the shapes in the hole but today he found a shape and put it in it's place all by himself. I watched him do this and then get a smile of accomplishment. He grabbed the same piece and then repeated this action a few more times, each time getting more excited. I was so excited for him and happy that he was able to do this by himself. By the way, the thing around his neck is fabric for one of my projects. He loves to grab anything that he can find and hang around his neck. At first I thought maybe he is pretending to have a pet snake. After watching him play with this piece of fabric I realized that around his neck is the only place that it will stay. He tried it around his waist and even after putting the ends together and holding them for a couple of seconds it falls to the ground. This was too funny too. I don't know if he thought he was tying it?? I guess my point for this story is that I love getting to watch him learn. Everyday is something new. He learned the word "please" the other day. He won't do it again but I am positive that is what he was saying. With each graham cracker I would give him he would repeat "please" it sounds more like a kazoo but I knew what it meant. I feel so privileged to watch this little life grow in front of me and be a part of watching him grow into the person that God has created him to be. Even his stubbornness and strong will, I know God will use those for His Kingdom and His purposes, and I can't wait to see it.
