Grass and the Vacuum Cleaner

Karsten just turned one and he is not afraid of many things. He climbs on anything that he can. He is very quick. This happened when I looked away for just a second. The only things that I have found him to be afraid of is the vacuum cleaner and grass. He cries instantly when I turn the vacuum on. Sometimes I can get by with letting him run around the house while I vacuum other times I have to hold him. He is pretty solid and holding him while vacuuming is quite the workout. Walking on grass is another story. We are fortunate enough to have beautiful St. Augustine grass. He will not walk on it. He must get this from me because I also do not like walking on grass.

This is Peter trying to coax him onto the grass.

Finally!!

Right back on solid ground.

This cracks me up to see my fearless little boy not wanting to walk on fluffy grass. Aren't boys supposed to love all things outdoors??

We're happy to see y'all have a blog! :) We just love hearing about your sweet little guy and seeing how much he's growing.

That's so funny! Logan's just the opposite- he wont walk on the sidewalk, and only walks in the grass.
